It is a simple device and comes in two parts: the foundation and one arch piece with ten round nodes also known as the Trigger Point Massage on both sides of the spinal cradle. It is easy to assemble and dismantle. It folds down flat, but after prolonged use, the arch piece tends to develop a slight curve. It is compact, light, portable, travel friendly and fits snugly into the bottom of any suitcase. This is just so you can bring it with you when vacationing or for storage when not in use.

The plastic appears to be heavy duty plastic, but if you are about 74 kg (my father's weight) or so, the arch tends to flex and bend under this weight. This is more noticeable when you use the first level setting.

There are three levels of adjustment, each level progression has a higher arch elevation. First time users should try the level one adjustment until your tolerance improve before progressing to the next level. You can alternate between the levels quite easily. For a different kind of stretch, turn the device upside down and move it further up for a different set of vertebrae to stretch.

You do not need to put in any effort on your part. Just lie down and feel good!! Usage is simple, just set it to your desired level, position it behind your back making sure that your spine is properly aligned and lie down. No effort on your part is needed. You can immediately feel it giving your back a good stretch as it relieves the tension and relaxing your muscles. Initially you will feel an 'ache', but by the end of the recommended five minutes, the 'ache' will be gone. Do not over use this in the beginning. Initially, it will be uncomfortable but you will get used to it with repeated use.
